A water-cooled TIG torch is a type of welding torch used in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding that relies on an external water-cooling system to keep the torch cool during high-amperage or extended welding operations.

Unlike gas-cooled torches, which rely on shielding gas to dissipate heat, water-cooled torches use a circulating coolant system that absorbs heat from the torch body and keeps it at an optimal temperature. This makes them ideal for high-amperage welding applications (300A+).
